Kids Life Furniture Warranty

When you purchase a Kids Life Furniture product, you're making an investment for your family. We're proud to play a role in that and provide you with the highest possible level of satisfaction. Our beds are of the highest quality standard, made from real solid wood, and inspected with our 102 point white glove process before being palletized and shipped to your home. We believe in the quality of the products we sell here at Kids Life Furniture, but understand that sometimes errors and defects occur during the manufacturing process.

Each product listing should state the warranty level that comes with the product on the product page. Please review the product page under product details to determine the manufacturer standard warranty length below that will come standard with your purchase.

All products have the option to be upgraded from standard to a limited lifetime warranty as described below.

1 year standard warranty

All products sold by KidsLifeFurniture.com come with a at least a 1 year standard warranty.

KidsLifeFurniture.com will replace any component part free of charge for 1 full year via FedEx Freight prepaid (not collect) due to manufacturer defect. In addition, KidsLifeFurniture.com will replace any component part for 50% of the then prevailing retail price plus freight for the lifetime of the product due to manufacturer defect.

You may also opt to purchase a limited lifetime warranty from KidsLifeFurniture.com for further protection in addition to the standard warranty.

PLEASE RETAIN THIS WARRANTY AND ORIGINAL PROOF OF PURCHASE FOR AT LEAST 1 YEAR FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE.

5 year standard warranty

Specific products will indicate on the product page if they come with a 5 year standard warranty.

KidsLifeFurniture.com guarantees that we will, at our option, replace or repair purchaser’s product if it is defective due to faulty workmanship or materials, subject to the limitations described in this warranty.

For Mattresses this warranty does not include a normal increase in softness of the pressure-relieving material which does not affect the pressure-relieving qualities of the product.

This warranty covers:

Any physical flaw in the product that causes the material to split or crack despite normal usage and proper handling; and
Deterioration of the cell-structure of the material that causes the product to not return to its original shape.

During the five (5) years of this warranty, KidsLifeFurniture.com will at its option, repair or replace the product, at a handling cost to the purchaser.

If the product or cover is physically abused, damaged, burned, cut or torn, this warranty is void.

This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser of the product. If purchaser is not the original purchaser of this product, he/she takes it “as is“ and “with all faults.“ Proof of purchase will be required to demonstrate that purchaser is the original purchaser and eligible to make a valid claim under this warranty.

This warranty is only valid for products that are at the original shipping location where the product was sent at the time of the original order. If the product has been moved to a new location, this warranty is void.

In the event a warranty claim is filed and a warranty replacement is deemed necessary, purchaser may be required to surrender the original product to KidsLifeFurniture.com prior to the replacement.

This warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights, and the purchaser may also have other rights, which may vary from state to state.

PLEASE RETAIN THIS WARRANTY AND ORIGINAL PROOF OF PURCHASE FOR AT LEAST 5 YEARS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE.

Limited lifetime warranty (upgrade)

A limited lifetime warranty is available only as an additional purchase upgrade, and must be purchased within 1 year of the initial order timeframe.

In the unlikely event that any item covered by the limited lifetime warranty should fail due to material, workmanship, or manufacturing defect, Kids Life Furniture promises to provide the parts necessary to repair the problem at no additional cost to the original purchaser for the life of the product. This is our assurance to you that any product you purchase will be free from material, workmanship, or manufacturing defects over the lifetime of the product, as per the terms and conditions of our warranty.

Warranty limitations & exceptions

Under the warranties offered by Kids Life Furniture, the sole liability of KidsLifeFurniture.com is limited to, as its option, replacement or repair of component parts or items under warranty. We will, at our discretion, replace items in their entirety only if the material, workmanship, or manufacturing defects cannot be remedied by replacing the defective parts. If the component parts or items under warranty are discontinued, we will, at our discretion, replace the component parts or items with comparable parts or items of equal or lesser value.

Additionally, Kids Life Furniture is limited to covering packing, shipping, or transportation costs to replace parts or items for one year after the verified time of purchase. One year after purchase , the purchaser will be responsible for covering all packing, shipping, and transportation costs for replacement parts or items for both the standard warranty and the limited lifetime warranty.

Warranties provide coverage to the original purchaser, only for products located at the original address the item was shipped to, and does not apply to rented, business, commercial, institutional, or other non-residential uses. This warranty does not apply to merchandise purchased "as-is" or second-hand.

All warranties, whether express or implied, cover only normal household usage. No warranty, express or implied, applies to any condition resulting from lifetime wear and tear, misuse, abuse, customer damage, alteration, pet or animal damage, chemical damage, water damage, fire damage, damage as a result of natural disaster, improper cleaning or care, nor any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance.

All warranties are null and void if the furniture has been moved from the original point of delivery.

Warranties do not cover damages or defects caused by use of chemical treatments or protective coatings to the leather, upholstered fabric, or finish of any furniture product. Any such chemical treatments or protective coatings void the warranty. This warranty does not cover damages resulting from soiling, unapproved cleaning or maintenance methods, fading or other damages resulting from exposure to sunlight, damages resulting from household humidity, or damages resulting from any liquid, including but not limited to water or alcohol.

Warranties do not apply to any products that have been altered by any person without the express written authorization of Kids Life Furniture.

NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY HAS BEEN MADE OR WILL BE MADE ON BEHALF OF KIDS LIFE FURNITURE WITH RESPECT TO THE FURNITURE AND ITS PARTS, OR THE OPERATION, REPAIR, OR REPLACEMENT OF THE FURNITURE AND ITS PARTS. SOME PARTIES OFFER EXTENDED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO EXTENDED OR ADDITIONAL FABRIC WARRANTIES. KIDS LIFE FURNITURE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER ANY EXTENDED OR ADDITIONAL WARRANTIES OFFERED BY ANY VENDOR OR THROUGH A THIRD PARTY. IN NO EVENT SHOULD KIDS LIFE FURNITURE BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, SUCH AS LOSS OF USE, INCONVENIENCE, LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PERSONAL PROPERTY, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT, AND WHETHER ARISING IN CONTRACT OR TORT. IN NO EVENT SHALL KIDS LIFE FURNITURE RESPONSIBILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT OR ITS REPLACEMENT.
